The building formed the Agency’s third phase of development. It marked a change in direction for them where they previously provided solely basic workshop space, to a more flexible arrangement of fitted-out office and workspace accommodation -primarily catering for young IT businesses in the locality. Our scheme is arranged around a simple linear form (providing ease of expansion) of two storey office accommodation and single storey workspaces (designed to permit the incorporation of a mezzanine level), split by a top lit central street, encouraging social interaction between the building’s occupants. Completed in March 2005 the building has proved extremely popular to a range to tenants.
