The new Jurys Inn Bradford forms part of a high profile development on Thornton Road at the very heart of the city. It includes 150,000 sqft of office accommodation and associated car parking spaces for Provident Financial PLC one of the city's main employers. Bradford is renowned for its civic pride and ambitious vision, and the development is set within the context of a wider Bradford Centre Regeneration Masterplan to create a vibrant City Park with innovative public realm improvements covering 375,000sqft. The 8 storey hotel development is located on the junction of Thornton Road and Southgate and occupies a key gateway site to the city centre. Fronting onto Thornton Road the fully glazed reception, bar and restaurant facilities on ground floor together with conferencing on first, all provide a highly active frontage with bedrooms arranged on a series of 32 bed floors above. Within the wider development framework external landscaping and upgraded public realm improve permeability and pedestrian routes around the site.
